Hello,

I am currently on part time H1 status working with a company for 20 hours/week. I was a masters student after which i was on OPT with this company. Last December(2009) i received my part time H1 visa approval.

We get projects from many universities and research based industries all over the world. Currently we received one project from India and for that my company is willing to send me there for installation of our system. I was the first one that my company filed for H1 visa(Part time), so my company is having some queries similar to what i have.

My question is whether am I allowed to visit any country for industrial purpose even though i am on part time h1?
If yes...what are the procedures. What if i visit my state after I finish installation in India?
