Q.

H1 to H4 and H1

I am on H1B visa and my employer has terminated my position as of March 15 and will be revoking my H1 visa. I am applying for COS to H4 visa as a dependent on my spouse H1 visa.

In the Meanwhile, I found a job that can sponsor my H1 visa. If the new employer applies for my H1 visa after March 15th and before March 30th.

Questions
1. Should I let the new employer know that my H4 visa is under processing or should I ask for COS from H1 to H1?

2. After Mar 15 and before my H4 is approved, if my new employer applies for H1 COS, then can I work immediately after receiving receipt from USCIS or should I wait till my new H1 is approved?

3. After my H4 is approved, if I apply for COS to H1 then can I work immediately after application receipt or should I wait till approval.
