I am working for company A from Dec 2008 till date on L1 A VISA ( Valid till Nov 2011). I filed for my H1 B through a consultancy firm (Company B) in April 2009 and got my petition approved. Company B revoked my H1 B petition on 18th Feb 2010 as they could not place me. Even though my H1B was approved, I have worked on my L1A and kept that active all the time. I had no paystubs run on H1B.

I have the following questions :

1. Is L1 A my current status, if not, what should be my immediate plan of action? ( as my H1 B petition is revoked ).

2. I have plans of visiting India in mid-May. Can I come back to US on my current L1 A VISA or do I need to go for L1 A restamping?

Please clarify.
