I have been working for a consulting company for the last 2 yrs which holds my H1-B. Recently the company was acquired by another firm without any notice being given to the employees. The old employer owes employees including me money.

Also, The new company has been paying me but not providing me with any paystubs. I am not sure if all the taxes are being paid and if I have valid health insurance. They are not responding to any emails from me. Questioning them on phone is not helping either as they have been very impolite.

I am not able to transfer my H1-B to other firms offering employment due to the lack of paystubs.

Could you please suggest how to proceed in this case? I feel trapped with the firm.
