I am currently working for company XYZ on h1B (since November 2005). I have my EAD since 2007 but never used it as I always maintained my H1B status. I formed a manager managed LLC in 2009 with corporate taxation which had no income or expenses, I was listed as the manager of the LLC and the only other member was my dad who is an Indian citizen living in India. THE LLC incurred no expenses or income. Just because I was a passive manager in my LLC (with no PAY or WORK) did I change my status to EAD? I am still working with XYZ using my H1B and I also travelled internationally using my H1b. Did I effectively use my EAD or am I still on H1b? If I used my EAD, should I inform my curent employer and have my status changed now. What is my current visa status? Please advice.
