Q.

L1B to H1B

Hello Sir,

Here is my case
- I came to US in Dec 06 on L1 with company A
- Got a H1 in Oct 08 with company B
- Since i did not get project after oct 08. I did not switch my company and went back to home country.
- Got fresh L1B with company A in my home country. Got it stamped (note that I did not go for H1B stamping)
- Came to US on May 09 on L1 with company A, working for a client.
- Now I got a client through my H1B employer company B

Question: Whether I can directly start working for company B or is it necessary to go to home country and get my H1B stamped and start working for company B?
