Solution to stop H1b-F2 application(pending)
I'm holding a nonprofit H1B in a university, which will end on 12/31/2010. I applied for F2 on December 2009 due to some reason, which is pending(CA). Now my situation changed and I have to continue to work for the same employer.
1. How can I prevent my F2 to be approved?
2. My current employer would like to change my h1b from fulltime to parttime. Could this help for stopping F2?
3.If there is a way to cancel my F2 or prevent it to be approved. Could you let me know in more detail what we should do on both my employer side and my spouse(F1)'s school side?
4. For example, can I submit a h1b amendment petition with premium process,mention that I have F2 on pending? After the h1b amendment is approved, withdraw F2?
