Q.

8th Year H1 Extension

Hi

My 7th year H1 is expiring on 04/30/2010.
My PERM (EB2) got approved on 01/14/2010.
MY PD is 11/30/2007.

I live and work in New Jersey.

What should i be doing?

a) Initiate I-140 premium processing and then apply for 3 year H1 extension after approval of I-140, or

b) Should I be applying I-140 and H1 Extension (simultaneously)- both normal processing.

Is option (b) possible, will the H1 extension be for 1 year or 3 years.

Additional info - H1 extensions are done in-house and GC processing is done through attorneys.

Which one of above is better option and is there any other alternate option?

Thanks
Vijay
