On h1 b sixth year with approved140, wanted to change job
Hello,
I am in 6th year of H1b.It ends on June 30,2010.My labor and I140 got approved.I couldn't file for 485 because of backlog,I am from India.I have to quit this job next month (feb).Can a new employer file for a new H1b beyond 6th year based on my approved I 140 with prior employer? The new job begins from feb. However by June I am reaching 6 year lmit.The new employer is willing to start my GC process again.However because of labor delays it may be difficult to get my my labor cleared before June 30,2010.
