H1 to H4 to H1
I started on my new H1 in Oct 2008, got laid off in Aug 2009, applied immediately for H4 transfer and got it approved in 15 days.
Now I have a company which is applying for my H4 to H1 transfer (COS).
1. Can I start working as soon as the COS application is filed (receipt is received) or do I have to wait for my COS application to be approved before I join this company?
2. Can I pay for COS premium processing ($1000) if the company doesn't want to pay for it?
