H1B transfer with current status F1 CPT

Came to US on L1 visa through Company A in 2006.
Resigned Company A and converted to F1 CPT in Jan 09.
Working for company B (a consultancy) on CPT since Apr 09.
Company B filed my H1B through consular processing, valid from Oct 09 through Sep 2012.
Now, company C has given me a full time employment offer and they are fine with me joining them on F1 CPT or through H1B transfer.
Please comment on the possibility of the below options. Please note that though I have my recent pay checks from Company B, they are all from my F1 CPT status.
1- My H1-B is not active yet. Can I still get it transferred from Company B to C?
2- If option 1 is not possible, and if I get my H1-B activated (by getting it stamped in another country), then would it be possible to get the H1 transfer done?
