Q.

L1 to H1B and OOS

Hi, I came to US with L1B in JAN06 through ComA. I had I94 validity upto MAR09. In MAR08, ComB filed my H1B and it got approved with COS effective from 1-OCT-08. Since ComB couldn't find any project for me, he asked me to continue on L1B with ComA even after 1-OCT-08. But I quit ComA in 31-OCT-08. I got a proj. on 10-NOV-08 through ComB and he started paying salary from 10-NOV-08. Rectly, ComC transfered my H1B to them and I will be joining with them soon. My current I94 expiration date is FEB2012. My questions are:
1. Was it illegal working for Company A (on L1B) during 1-OCT-08 to 31-OCT-08?
2. Is it considered as OOS from 1-NOV-2008 to 9-NOV-08 as I didn't get any salary in that period and my joining date with ComB is 10-NOV-08?
3. Will I face any issue if I go for stamping in India?
