My current situation is that I used to work as a full time employee in H1B which is set to expire in December 2009. I did not renew my H1B yet. I applied for a change of status from H1B to F1 on September 14th. Currently my application for Change of Status to F1 is pending.After I resign, I was offered to work as an intermittent employee (< 40 hrs per week) until Jan 2009 and further if my status permits.So, my questions are:
1. Which Visa should I apply to work as a part-time employee? Part-time H1B?
2. Will applying for this new visa affect my COS to F1 application?
3. If I cannot work as an intermittent employee until January 2009 while my COS to F1 is pending, can you please let me know how I can work with the employer when my F1 status is approved?
