Q.

Amendment for my H1 B_MB

Dimitar,
I got your info from Vivek Kumar. I just got my H1B extenstion approval. Just after labor day weekend my firm had all of us go on 80% schedule. Instead of 40 hours a week, I am working 32 hours & with 20% pay cut as well.
they said we may go back to 100% work schedule in January, but its not certain.
My wages are still above the prevailing wage as applied for in my LCA. Do I need to file for an amendment or can I do without it?
I was told that there is a USCIS memo that says after the drop in salary, if it is still higher than the previaling wage I could escape filing for amendment. Is that true? Do you know which memo I could refer to? I wanted to go to India and stamp my visa in December and I dont know what I should do.

Thank you so much!
