opt extension expires h1b petition approved
My opt extension expired today. Sept 30
I have applied for the h1b and it was approved and to my knowledge I have to go back to my home country to have the visa stamped in order for it to become a valid document- something to do with the application according to the lawyer who filled it for me.
Do I have a grace period of 60 days? or am I already out of status?
