Q.

Travel out of country while H1-B transfer in process

I have applied for H1B transfer to company B and i am planning for short trip to India. I have my current job with company A and have also H1B visa stamped in my passport for company A. After the short trip, I am planning to re-enter US with company A's visa, the current job that i have with company A and company A's approved I-797. Kindly pl. advise on 1. whether i can travel outside US in this scenario during H1B transfer and is there any immigration law that says i should remain in the US while my visa is getting transferred to company B. 2.Also, can i re-enter US with valid stamped visa of company A and later decide on which employer i should work for 3.if i am outside US during the visa transfer, Is there any chance for denial of H1B transfer to company B, saying i wasnt in US
