Q.

H1 Transfer based on approved labor

Here are the dates

6th Year H1 Ends - Dec 7th 2012
Labor applied with Currenty employer - Oct 10th 2011
Labor approved - Dec 20th 2011
Which means my perm was applied in the 5th year itself.

Havent applied for my 140 yet. My perm is valid for 4 more months.

Now if i want to change the employer and apply for h1 transfer,

Will i get 2 years of h1b ( About 10 months left in the 6th year + 1 year because of perm applied before 6th year started)?

What are the options that i have if i want to transfer my H1 at this point? Or is it too late to change employer since i just have 10 months left?

Thanks
