H1B Visa Stamping - Corporate Merger

I work on an H1 Visa since 2008. I took an offer from a company E in June 2011 and got my I797 Approved. In Oct 2011 company E merged to become an independent division of Company B. The HR/Immigration Counsel for the company B said there was a succesorship of interest and no visa transfer was required.

The company listed on my I797 is company E, although we have started receiving paychecks in 2012 from company B. My role and workplace
have remained intact after the merger.

I plan to travel abroad and need to a new visa stamp. My question is when filing form DS 160 and when questioned by the Consulate Officer. Should I say I work company E or company B ? What should I fill in the DS 160 form? What paperwork should I carry to clarify the merger to the consulate?
