I attended a H1b visa renewal interview in India and was granted H1b visa for 3 years . When I received the passport in mail I found out that the petition number in the Annotation section of the visa is incorrect . Basically one digit in the petition number is incorrect. Everything else is correct . I had two petitions ( one current one and the other an extension of my current one ) . The second petition number is correct in the visa . I am traveling back to US next week.My question is
(1) Would there be any problem at the port of Entry ? I have my original petition with me and since the error is in annotation section of the visa I was wondering how serious this issue is ?I found out that I need to send my passport back if I need to get it corrected but I dont have that time
