I have a valid H1B visa and I 94 till Aug 2011 from my previous employer. I joined a new employer based on my H1 transfer application receipt on 6th of July. There is no gap between my employments. My status is still under review for the transfer.
My lawyer said that it is safe for me to travel to my home country with the receipt and current H1 visa stamping. I need a second opinion to just ensure I would not be in trouble. Are you aware of any immigration issues developed in such a case? Could you please advise if it is safe to travel?
