Hi,
I got hired by Firm A in Aug07 and laid off on Mar 4,'10 and have paychecks until Mar 31,'10. Firm B (consulting) applied for H1B Txfer, got RFE as it wasn't a direct vendor to end client and denial on Jun15,'10. Firm C (direct vendor to end client) applied for H1B Trnsfer on Jun 28,'10 and got receipt notice. Got RFE Jul 12,'10 for some docs and also says:
Nonimmigrant Status of Beneficiary: Provide evidence of the beneficiary's current immigration status.If the beneficiary is not in a nonimmigrant status the request for an extension of stay/change of nonimmigrant status will be denied and the petition (if approved) will be forwarded abroad.
Note: According to our records the beneficiary is no longer in valid H1B
Firm A has visa stamp until Jul12,'10. Will my txfer go thru?
