Q.

H1b status while I-130/I-485 submitted

I am on an H1b and currently employed. I have applied for AOS via marriage to a US citizen (I-130/I-485 concurrent) and for an EAD (have received NOAs). Here are my questions:
- Do I have to stay at the current job until GC is approved?
- Can I take leave-of-absence or just quit my current job?
- If so, for how long can I go without having another job before I am considered that I have unregulated status?
- Do I need to change status to something else if I want quit my job since I am an H1b despite having filed for AOS via marriage?
- Can I work for someone else with the new EAD? If so, do they have to sponsor me on an H1b or is the new EAD enough?
