I hava H1-B visa stamp on my passport which says valid till Sep 2010. I was working with Lehman Brothers in New York until aug 2008 and then relocated to the India office of the same company. The company didnt apply for cancelation of my visa. In sep 08 lehman got bankrupt. My question is, Is my H1-B visa still valid or how can i find the same. Normally one is allowed to change employer under the H1-B visa. Is my visa still valid for transer to a new emplyer and can i then enter united states again on same visa.My H1-B visa was issued under the quota of students who complete there master's studies in US.
