My husband is in pakistan. I got marride with him last year in 2008. i came back from pakistan on may 2008 and i applied for him for a visa. I recieved a recite number for my case. after 9 months the immigration transered my case to the calfornia service center. Last week i got another latter saying that, i have to wait 6 more months for them to take a decision becasue they are doing a back ground check. My question for you is that, why is it takeing so long becasue iam a U.S citizen and it already took 9 months. I still dont know if my case have been proved. could please let me know how long does it take for them to process my case. Thanks for your help.
