My husband is Egyptian, and we live here in the US, but he has an ex-wife in Egypt with 2 daughters. After our marriage she attempted to force him back to her by seducing him and getting pregnant (their second daughter was born out of wedlock during his marriage to me, we worked through it and have a good relationship now.) However, she has not taken it well that he won't return to her, and now she hides the children from him and tells them he does not care for them. A lawyer in Egypt told him that he can see his kids again if he can persuade the court to recognize them as informally remarried so that he can pursue another divorce agreement to include the 2nd daughter(polygamy is legal there). If they have an informal marriage (no legal contract), will that affect his green card?
