hello, my wife & i married nov 2002 & she is a mexican citizen. She received her resident in march 04. We had a issue with our marriage & divorced for 2 months in May/June 2006 then remarried july 17th 2006. So we have been remarried the 2nd time for just over 3 years. Almost 7 years total & very happy. My wife wants to apply for her citizenship so we can bring her mother from mexico. My question is could the 2 month divorce affect her getting her citzenship since we have been remarried for plus years years the 2nd time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
