Q.

L1B visa, marriage-green card, laid off

1. I am on an L1B visa which expires Oct2011, however I will be laid off from this employer at the end of May 2009.
2. Late March 2009 I married a USA citizen and we have just applied for Petition for Alien Relative (I130) with the Adj of Status (I485)
3. We want to stay in USA and for me to work asap for anyone.
Given it seems the I130/I485 process will take some time to get my green card. What do I need to do to:
a. travel overseas and back in the interim
b. work for a new employer who makes me a job offer (prior to me getting a GC)
c. speed up the GC process with the I130/I485 application (my wife is not currently employed either, so me having no GC will contribute hardship)
d. Will an I131 or EAD I765 be needed?
