Family Immigration: Aproved I-130 petition and expired F1 visa
My son came to US on an F1 visa 6 years ago. He went to school on this visa until 2004, when he dropped out. His visa expired in 2004. As us citizen I filed I-130 petition for my son on 12/22/2003 and it was approved on 08/05/2005. Now our priority date of 12/22/2003 is about to become current probably in 1 to 2 years. At this time my son is with expired visa and his driving license will expire soon.
Q. Is there any possible way that he can stay in US until priority date of 12/22/2003 becomes and apply for adjustment of status (I-485).
