Q.

Is Social Security Number "must have" for I-485?

Thanks for your advice on my previous question.
I think I will go for I-485/I-864 to apply for my Father's Green Card.
I see the field for "Social Security Number" on I-485 form. Is it "must have" for my Father as he has no SEN yet.
Can I put the SEN filed as "N/A" and apply for it later after submitting the I-485?
