Became US GC holder -August 2011- Getting Laid off
I just became US PR GC holder in August 2011 this year. I did my AOS thru my US citizen spouse,I had been on H1B before my AOS. On my I-864 I am the household main finical supporter my wife does not work. Now I am getting laid off end of this month, will that affect my GC? Will there be any problem on my PR status due to being un-employed. I also want to know if I am eligible for unemployment benefits? And where can I apply for benefits?
