Q.

Work abroad: maintain LPR status or naturalize early

I'm a US citizen hoping to take a 3 year teaching job abroad (UAE).

*Can my LPR husband accompany me without losing his US Green Card? I'm neither working for the US govt nor military, so probably not eligible for section 319(b)?

*If accompanying is impossible and he remains living in the US, can he accept a UAE multi-entry visa (called residence visa) in his passport to visit me? Or will the fact of having a 2nd residence visa put his US status in jeopardy?
