How long can a green card holder stay outside of US?
My mom received her family based green card in March 2011 while she was in US and then left US around May 2011.
1) How long can she stay outside of US now? Should she be prepared for some questions at port of entry or elsewhere?
2) Say, she comes back after 2 months from now (total 6 months outside) will there be issues at time of green card renewal?
3) Should she file US tax returns from 2011 onwards even though she does not work and has only few "interest income" in India
