Q.

FAMILY BASED VISA F-1

Hi, My mother is USA citizen and she applied for me in Oct-2005 (PRIORITY DATE) for F1 category. the cut off date for F1 at the moment is 1-May-2004, Its been same date since last five months, its hasn't been changed.I finish my all initial process such as ds-230, affidavit of support but wait for they send my file to home country and organise my appointment.Why the f-1 is stuck?

When it will probably Priority date (PD) change and how much time to get my appointment for visa?
