Q.

Maintaining a green card.

Hi Indu,
I asked question before and I was highly satisfied with your answer. Here I am asking you another question

Question: If a person got a family based green card and then moved to India; What should he do to maintain his GC being in India? How frequently he must visit USA and for how many days he must be in USA to maintain the GC? Is it must that the person should be in USA for fix number of days in a year or in 5 years to maintain GC and apply for citizenship? How does the income in India affects maintaining GC if the GC holder is working and paying taxes in India. Does he have to file taxe return every year in USA? Should he declare that income while filing taxes in USA or in any paper work? I know I asked multiple questions but they are connected

Thanks,
Bandhu
