After i applied 485 for my mother in OCT2010, she went back to home country on advance parol in FEB2011. As soon as she left the country, we received her 485 interview request for interview date in MAR2011. For personal reasons (commitments back in home country), my mother prefers to come back to US after 3 to 6 months. how should i postpone the interview? what do i lose (like, delays in her green card processing or other risks in coming back to US, etc.) by postponing her interview? I am trying to decide if i should hurry and bring back my mother in next few weeks. Appreciate your answers.
