I am GC(eligible for citizenship only in April 2012) and am going to marry a woman in India.She is trying to a B1 visa Our religious ceremony date is 24th march 2011
1)During the interview can she tell the officer that she is in correspondence with couple of professors from reputed universities for campus visits and if things work out she may consider taking some professional courses to get B1 visa stamped as "prospective student". She revealing her intention affect her interview negatively?
2)When is the best time to register the marriage and where? Can we register the marriage in India after she gets B1? Can she reveal to the Port of Entry officer that she is married to greencard holder? if not can we re register in US and use that for immigrtion purpose?
