I, Pallavi Shah am a US Citizen, currently living in the US. I want to apply for Green card for married sister (currently housewife in India with two kids, ages 7 and 1) and married brother(currently working as a software developer in India, married to a software developer). Would my filing for green card for my sister block her from getting a tourist visa during the time it takes for green card processing? In case of my brother, would me filing for his green card interfere with him getting an H1B Visa to the US / Work permit for other countries, while waiting for US green card processing to be done? Would it also interfere with his wife getting an H1 to the US or work permit to other countries?
