We received a RFE on my 485 asking for bank stmt for last 12 months which we already sent back. I am concerned b/c I had a big deposit ($30,000) coming in my account after we got married. I explained it as "a wedding gift from my family overseas". Do you think this response is adequate? If it is, when would CIS resume our case and when would the interview schedule come to us?
Also b/c our bank accounts are the main part of our assets (our income is not enough and we cannot obtain a joint sponsor), if CIS is not satisfied with my response and denies my 485, can I restart my 485 right away? Would I be legally staying? What would happen to 130? If I need reapply 485 should I wait after 130 is approved?
