Q.

The ghost REF

Hi Mr Wilson! As you may remember, I consulted with you about my "REF lost in mail" issue a few days ago. (http://www.lawbench.com/family-based-green-card...)

Following your advice we called the 800 number for the third time. After being told to give the "previous request" 30 days, my husband managed to get himself transferred to another officer. His answer made us really confused - he said they never sent out the REF and the status online about the REF was apparently a mistake. FYI the INFOPASS officer also said he did not see a REF but only a comment on 10/22.

Basically the officer asked us to do nothing but wait for interview schedule notice. Do you think they really made such a weird mistake? Should we listen to him and do nothing about the REF? Thanks.
