Hi!
Im a marriage based GC applicant, I received i797c notice for 485, 130 and 765 on 09/23/10 and did my biometric on 10/27/10. CIS updated my case status online on 10/22/10 saying they sent out a RFE (for initial evidence) and I have not received it in mail yet. I called them on 11/02/10 they said "allow 15 days" then I waited until 11/05/10 and nothing came. I called again the girl said she would send a request (I assume they would resend it). Now its been 6 days since that "request" and still nothing. Now I start to get worried - I don't even know what the request is and how much time do i have for response. Someone said its 30 days? What should I do now? Also i heard if the RFE is for INITIAL evidence the application would be put on hold until 90 days later? Is that true? Thanks.
