I am a US citizen working and living in India.I filed I-130 for my wife in India.It got approved.Now the prob is reg I-864.My earnings and assets are mostly in India and in Indian Currencies.So my question is that can I fill I-864 with Indian Currencies at column 23 and 26d. If I have to convert the amount in USD, at what rate of exchange should I do it? Just FYI, if I convert my earning in USD, I fall much below the Federal Poverty level however I have the assets to make up the difference. I also did not file taxes in US as my income was not that much and I was paying taxes in India. I am working as Software Engineer in a US Based MNC.
