Family based Greencard

Hi,
I am on H1B visa, I got married an year back and my spouse has a greencard and it will take few years in order to obtain citizenship. My h1b is going to expire sometime soon. However my I-140 was approved via my previous company 4 years back on EB3 category. Now this new company is not applying my Greencard. In this situation I want to know what are my options?
1) Is my employment based greencard process will have any effect since I am married to a greencard holder? Can I apply I-485 based on that?
2)F2A visa? what is that category and can my spouse apply that for me? How much time will it take in this situation? Can I leave the country in between for a visit while it is still in progress?
Please let me know ,
Thanks
