Q.

Family based immigration

My uncle (my father's brother) who is US citizen applied for my father's immigration to the US in Aug 2001. My father is an Indian citizen. Me (27 years old) and my younger brother who is currently 20 years was also filled by my uncle along with my father.Currently June 2001 cases are being processed. I expect that Aug 2001 cases will be processed in September 2010. a)what is the procedure, do we need to contact USCIS or they will contact my father in India in September? b)Does he get the green card immediately? c)How often my father/brother have to visit or be in the US after that? Since my brother cannot suddenly leave his education and come here. It will take 3years for him to complete his education. I am 27 years old do I have a chance of getting green card with my father and brother?
