Hello,

I currently am on my 6th year H1b and my I140 is about to get filed.I am engaged to a girl who has a greencard and will get married to her next month.

My question is would it be better to also start my greencard application via marriage as soon as I get married? How long does it usually take to get an EAD if I file the
adjustment of status from my to be wife.

Also, if my I140 is approved from my employment based application, how long after that can I switch my job? Since my wife lives in another city, I would like to change my job asap and move there as well.
