Q.

Filing AOS without some required documents

My mother is currently visiting me and I am trying to file AOS for her. We just have 3 weeks before her I-94 expires so I am trying to file I130 and I485 within a week or so. The medical documents and couple of affidavits from India are taking a little longer than expected so can I go ahead and file without those docs and then send it later along with the receipt?
