Civil Wedding In New Jersey

Hello Mr.Andrew,
I was in contact with you a month back. I am an OPT Student(F1-VISA) and my OPT is getting expired by April and I am getting married to an US citizen in September. You had advised me earlier to have a simple civil wedding before the actual ceremony so that I can apply for my green card early. My fiance has agreed for a civil wedding now. We would like to have the civil wedding held in New jersey since my fiance resides there at the moment.
My question for you is:
1) Is driving license and a witness enough for the wedding?
2) Do we need to show any other documentation?
3) My fiance holds California drivers license and I hold Texas DL. Will it cause any problem for the civil wedding to be held in NJ?
4) Any other suggestion for me?
Thank you!
