Q.

Status Help - URGENT

Hello,

I'm currently under H1-B. I got married recently and applied for the I-485 green card in November.

- Am I technically in status once my marriage based EAD gets approved meaning I can resign from my H1-B sponsoring employer?
- Do I need to submit an amended I-485 if switch positions or companies?
