Q.

Should parent's complete I-864A or I-864 (as a joint sponsor)?

My spouse is a US citizen and she is sponsoring me for green card. She is a student and lives with her parents as a dependant under them. I live in a different state and we are not going to start living for another 2 years.
She doesn't have any income, and so we are using her parents income to meet the minimum income requirements.

Now she has completed I-864 while her parents have completed I-864A. Is this an acceptable way to meet the financial support requirements, considering that she is herself a dependent under her parents? Is there any chances of problems with this way of filing?

OR should we wait till her parents come back from vacation and make her parents joint sponsors instead of I-864A?

Regards,
Thank You
