Q.

OPT and H1B

My OPT expires on July 21, 2009 but my F1 expires on july 1, 2009, I also have a valid B1/B2 visa until 2015 so can I go out and re-enter the US on a B1/B2 visa and continue to work till july 21,2009? Would that count as a violation of my F1 status if I re-enter on B1/B2 before July 1,2009?

Another query: I work for a non profit which would like to file for an H1B for me now, so will I be covered by the cap gap rule, if they file it before my OPT expires? or I can only work from october onwards?
