Q.

OPT EXTENSION AND H1 B

As i stated previously,I got my H1B approved and by the time i knew about it,i have already sent my documents for OPT Extension. So,from Oct 1st ,i will be on my H1 B.What will happen to this OPT EXTENSION which i have filed. Will they reject it or approve it?Will they consider OPT Extension separately and H1 PETITION separately? My OPT is ending in sept. So, can i use CAP-GAP extension till september 30 even if they reject my OPT Extension? What will be likely scenario with OPt Extension i filed? Will filing of my OPT Extension affect my H1B that was approved?
